The Jefferson County Public Safety Committee will consider participation in the state of Illinois Federal Surplus Property Program in its next meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23.
In the meeting, the committee will also review general liability claims and receive updates and reports from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department. It will also review workman’s compensation claims.
The meeting will be held in the Jefferson County Board Room in the basement of the County Courthouse, 100 S. 10th St., No. 101, Mount Vernon.
