The Carbondale, Illinois City Council will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, on the proposed FY 2017 city budget.
Other items to be discussed by the council include the awarding of a contract for the Lift Station Alarm and Flow Communications to Burke Electric for $115,500, and the purchase of a heavy duty truck for $51,920.
The council will also review appointments and re-appointments to boards and commissions.
The meeting will take place at City Hall, 200 South Illinois Ave.
