The Jefferson County Land, Tax and Appointments Committee will meet at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, May 19, to discuss one appointment to Jefferson County Fire Protection District.
The committee also will discuss one appointment each to the Webber Fire District, Woodlawn Fire District and Waltonville Fire District.
The meeting will be held in the Jefferson County Board Room at 100 S. 10th St., Mount Vernon. There will also be a period for public comment.
