City of Red Bud Personnel Committee met Aug. 25.

Here is the minutes as provided by the Committee:

Committee Members Present:Glenn Linnertz, Clarence Nail, Kyle Donjon, David Friess, Mike Reed

Committee Members Absent:None

Council Members Present: Don Thompson, Bill Hanebutt

Council Members Absent: Clem Esker

Others Present:Mayor Tim Lowry, City Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Administrator Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, Administrative Assistant Pam Poetker, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Committee Chairman Linnertz called the meeting to order at 7:32 P.M.

Old Business

I.Safety Award and Retirement Recognition Program

Committee Chairman Linnertz recommended that the part time employees be included in the safety award meals. The $100 award must be for work related clothing or equipment. The weekly safety meetings may be online training and because of work schedules, everyone may not be in attendance.

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Linnertz, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to authorize Attorney Ray to write an ordinance to accept the Safety Award/Retirement Award Program, as changed. Carried

New Business

I.Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting July 25, 2016

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Linnertz, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to approve the minutes from the July 25, 2016 meeting. Carried

III.Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

Nothing
