Waterloo City Council reviews raffle license request

The Waterloo City Council met Jan. 16 to review a raffle license request.

Here is the meeting's agenda, as provided by the council:

The Waterloo City Council, along with the mayor, approve all ordinances, resolutions and contracts with the city. The mayor and city council also review any programs to meet community needs. In addition, the council oversees the financing of city operations, approves appointments to various city boards and commissions, liaisons with other government agencies, and responds to the concerns of community groups and citizens.

C. Consideration and Action on Extension of Façade Grant to J.V.’s Bar & Grill for an additional six months, to expire on 07-16-17.

D. Consideration and Action on Purchase of White Lights for Downtown Waterloo up to $30,000 to be paid for out of the Video Gaming Proceeds.
