MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SESSION OF THE ANNA CITY COUNCIL DECEMBER 20, 2016
The Anna City Council met in regular session at the Anna City Hall at 5:00 p.m. on December 20, 2016. The meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Al Kamp. The roll call went as follows: Present were Commissioner David Isom, Commissioner Al Kamp, and Commissioner Martha Webb. Mayor Steve Hartline and Commissioner Brandon Bierstedt were absent.
A motion was made by Commissioner Isom and seconded by Commissioner Webb that it be RESOLVED TO APPROVE THE DECEMBER 6, 2016 ANNA. CITY COUNCIL REGULAR SESSION MINUTES AS SUBMITTED AS THE OFFICIAL MINUTES OF SAID MEETING. A vote was taken upon the motion with the following results. Commissioner Isom, Commissioner Webb, and Acting Mayor Kamp voted yea. Nay - none. Acting Mayor Kamp declared the motion carried.
Budget Officer Guined reminded the council that the 11-30-16 financial reports had been distributed for their review.
A motion was made by Commissioner Isom and seconded by Commissioner Webb that it be RESOLVED TO PAY ALL APPROVED BILLS. A vote was taken upon the motion with the following results. Commissioner Isom, Commissioner Webb, and Acting Mayor Kamp voted yea. Nay - none. Acting Mayor Kamp declared the motion carried.
A motion was made by Commissioner Webb and seconded by Commissioner ISOm that it be RESOLVED TO APPROVE ORDINANCE 2016-II TRAVEL, MEAL, LODGING EXPENSE ALLOWABLE REIMBURSEMENTS. A Vote was taken upon the motion with the following results. Commissioner Isom, Commissioner Webb, and Acting Mayor Kamp voted yea. Nay - none. Acting Mayor Kamp declared the motion carried.
A motion was made by Commissioner Isom and seconded by Commissioner Webb that it be RESOLVED TO APPROVE ORDINANCE 2016-12; NEW DCEO REVOLVING LOAN GUIDELINES. A Vote Was taken upon the motion with the following results. Commissioner Isom, Commissioner
Webb, and Acting Mayor Kamp voted yea. Nay - none. Acting Mayor Kamp declared the motion carried.
A motion was made by Commissioner Webb and seconded by Commissioner ISOm that it be RESOLVED TO APPROVE ORDINANCE 2016-13, ANNUAL TAX LEVY. A Vote Was taken upon the motion with the following results. Commissioner Isom, Commissioner Webb, and Acting Mayor Kamp voted yea. Nay - none. Acting Mayor Kamp declared the motion carried.
A motion was made by Commissioner Webb and seconded by Commissioner ISOm that it be RESOLVED TO APPROVE RESOLUTION 2016-29, ANNA CITY HALL POLICIES. A Vote Was taken upon the motion with the following results. Commissioner Isom, Commissioner Webb, and Acting Mayor Kamp voted yea. Nay - none. Acting Mayor Kamp declared the motion carried.
Code Enforcement Officer Rider Submitted his monthly report and gave updates on 202 E. Chestnut St. and 623 E. High St.
Police Chief Hunter submitted his monthly report and discussed recent area robberies and gave the council progress reports on each.
A motion was made by Commissioner Isom and seconded by Commissioner Webb that it be RESOLVED THAT THE REGULAR SESSION OF THE ANNA CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF DECEMBER 20, 2016 BE ADJOURNED AT 5:15 PM. A Vote was taken upon the motion with the following results. Commissioner Isom, Commissioner Webb, and Acting Mayor Kamp voted yea. Nay - none. Acting Mayor Kamp declared the motion carried.
