Jefferson County Board Technology Committee met May 18.

Committee Members Present: Adam Ortgiesen, Chairman, Ciff Lindemann, Joey McDermott, Joyce Damron & Wayne Hicks
Others Present Steve Draege, Sean Wilkey, Randy Edwards, Tim Marlow, Jeff Williams, Bob Watt, Terry Knowles, Clint Taylor & Suzy Tate
No one was present for public input.
Information was received from Lt. Craig Mansker regarding Blue Host and costs attached for a new email host. Additional bids are being created by Arthur Agency and Liquid Webb but have not been received as of this date. Committee Chairman Ortgiesen explained the current problems that the county is experiencing with the email system.
The surplus property safe was discussed under Necessary and Proper. Options were discussed for a different type of sale. This will be discussed at the Full Board Meeting.
Options for removal of the switchboard for the old telephone system was discussed. This will be included in the discussion of the surplus sale.
Motion by Wayne Hicks and seconded by Cliff Lindemann to adjourn.
Motion Carried. Vote -5 aye, 0 nay
