Village Of Coulterville Board of Trustees met February 6.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The Village Board of Coulterville was called to Order in the Community Center for regular session on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 7:00 pm.

Those present for the roll call were Board members: Dyson, Long, Harvey, Knope, Wine and Hobbs.

•Moved by Harvey, second by Wine to approve agenda as presented. All Ayes.

•Moved by Knope, second by Harvey to approve minutes for January 17, 2017 regular meeting as presented. All Ayes.

•Moved by Long, second by Knope to approve payment of invoices for February 6, 2017. All Ayes.

Reports and Communications:

•Financial report: Nothing to report.

•Cemetery report: Committee to pursue contracting labor to trim this upcoming season.

•Sewer report: Nothing to report.

•Park report: Egyptian Asphalt will give quote for the Walking track if requested. It has been 3 years since maintenance was done on the track. Roof repairs at the ballpark pavilion are tentatively set for March 11" or 18".

•Recycle report: Nothing to report.

•Water report: The water loss is still high. Fire hydrants will be checked to see if there are possible leaks. The meter at the care center will be replaced in an effort to decrease the amount of unaccountable Water.

•Street report: Street sign on 8" and Maple needs to be secured on post.

Public Announcement/Guests:

•Mr. Alan Chamberlain will open Alan's Auto Repair on April 1". He will be leasing the garage from Roland/Laura Wilson. He will hire two locals and offer a full service repair shop.

•Terry Kempfer asked the board for permission to make payments to pay his outstanding sewer tap fee of $400.00. The Board did not object.

Public Comment

New Business:

•Moved by Long, second by Knope to approve the Holiday Association hosting a circus on April 26, 2017 at the ballpark. All Ayes.

•The Village has received several applications for the part-time police officer position. The Board decided to set the interview date for February 27". Chief Schlesinger will contact applicants and set the time of their interview.

Old Business:

•Four bids were presented for the post office handrail based on a drawing provided by the Village. The drawing has 2 options with slope differentials on brushed aluminum finish tube steel.

Option A; Option B;

1. Iron Crafters- $642.75; $567.75; Pick up only

2. SeveN 13 Welding- $450.00; $375.00; Pick up only

3. Ideal Shield S350.94- $350.94; $133.36; delivery

4. Handy Helper Fencing- $375.00; ___; delivered/installed

The Post Office handrail was tabled. Mayor Marlow stated a final determination will be made at the next meeting.
