Village Of Coulterville Board of Trustees met February 21.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The Village Board of Coulterville was called to Order in the Community Center for regular session On Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 7:00 pm.

In the absence of Mayor Steven Marlow a motion was made by Wine and second by Dyson to appoint Long as Mayor pro tem. All Ayes.

Those present for the roll call were Mayor pro tem Long, Board members; Dyson, Harvey, Knope, Wine and Hobbs.

•Moved by Harvey, second by Knope to approve agenda as presented. All Ayes.

•Moved by Wine, second by Dyson to approve minutes for February 6, 2017 regular meeting as presented. All Ayes.

•Moved by Knope, second by Wine to approve payment of invoices for February 21, 2017. All Ayes.

•Moved by Wine, second by Hobbs to approve January 2017 Treasurer's Report. All Ayes.

Reports and Communications:

•Financial report: Nothing to report.

•Cemetery report: Committee to pursue contracting labor to trim this upcoming season. Hobbs requested this item to be placed on next meeting's agenda.

•Sewer report: A representative from IRWA came Thursday, February 16, 2017 to assist the Village in finding the source of the chlorinated water in the drainage ditch by the trailer court. A leak was located at a residential outdoor faucet. No other leaks Were detected.

•Park report: Roof repairs at the ballpark pavilion are set for March 10" and 11". Hobbs stated that the budget he submitted had $100/day to feed the volunteers; he could purchase food from the Dairy Queen. After much discussion Dyson Would try and organize individuals to provide such.

•Recycle report: Wine reported that he is trying to contact Mark North to see if Randolph County has any recycling events planned.

•Water report: Fire hydrants were checked and no leaks were found but many did not appear to be shut off completely. The meter at the care center was replaced. H.D. Supply met with Marlow, Wine and Schumer to discuss new meters. A sales representative is currently working on a quote for touch meters and radio read meters. Mayor Marlow visited Marissa City Hall and was shown their metering system. Dyson is gathering information on meter recalibration.

•Street report: Nothing to report.

Public Announcement/Guests

Public Comment:

•The Methodist Church will host a pancake dinner on Tuesday, February 28, 2017

•Dyson commented that it is great to see the high school kids working with the Village to improve the park and the police reaching out to children in the community with the shop with a cop and Vet program.

New Business:

•Moved by Wine, second by Harvey to approve granting Mayor Marlow the authority to sign a ballot to accept payment terms from Peabody in the bankruptcy reorganization. All Ayes.

•Moved by Dyson, second by Hobbs to approve opening a checking account entitled Cops & Vets Fund with the required two signatures from the present signers: Marlow, Schumer and Shaw. This fund will be used solely for the shop with a cop and vet program and all funds will be donations. All Ayes.

Old Business:

•The Post Office handrail was tabled in the Mayor's absence.

Adjournment:

•Moved by Wine, second by Dyson to adjourn at 7:45 pm. All Ayes.
