Village Of Coulterville Board of Trustees met March 20.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The Village Board of Coulterville was called to Order in the Community Center for regular session on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 7:00 pm.

Those present for the roll call were Board members: Dyson, Long, Harvey, Knope, Wine and Hobbs.

•Moved by Dyson, second by Harvey to approve agenda as presented. All Ayes.

•Moved by Harvey, second by Knope to approve minutes for March 6, 2017 regular meeting as presented. All Ayes.

•Moved by Long, second by Knope to approve minutes for March 13, 2017 special meeting as presented. All Ayes.

•Moved by Long, second by Knope to approve payment of invoices for March 20, 2017. All Ayes.

•Moved by Long, second by Knope to approve February 2017 Treasurer's report. All Ayes.

Reports and Communications:

•Financial report: Nothing to report.

•Cemetery report: Mowers have been serviced. Ad has been placed to run for two weeks to accept bids for trimming until March 31, 2017.

•Sewer report: Lift station pump repairs have been a contributing factor for the financial loss in the sewer fund.

•Park report: The pavilion roof was completed on March 18" with high school students and former Students from the Construction Management class.

•Recycle report: Nothing to report.

•Water report: The experiment with Water meters installed at the Mayor, Board Members and Clerk residences showed that two of the seven meters are now registering twice the usage previously recorded.

•Street report: Nothing to report.

Public Announcement/Guests:

•The Coulterville Area Chamber of Commerce will have the spring village wide yard sale on April 22nd and host the golf scramble on May 6".

Public Comment

New Business:

•Moved by Long, second by Wine to approve Resolution 32017 authorizing Mayor Marlow to sign a revised agreement with IDOT on the milling and resurfacing of the parallel parking lanes along IL 153 for IL 13 to King Street. IDOT's initial agreement gave a cost of $3,565.00 and the revised agreement was $17,837.00. An IDOT representative had called Mayor Marlow and informed him of their cost estimate mistake and immediately sent the revision. Dyson, Long, Harvey, Knope and Wine voted Ayes, Hobbs abstained, motion carried.

•Moved by Hobbs, second by Dyson to approve the S100 price increase from Tim Schnoeker of the Coulterville Construction Technology class for the 10 picnic tables. The new cost is $1,250.00. All Ayes.

•Moved by Hobbs, second by Dyson to approve $200.00 donation to the Coulterville Construction Technology class for their annual trip to Hoyleton. All Ayes.

•Moved by Wine, second by Harvey to approve a building permit for 401 S. Fifth Street for a porch

replacement. All Ayes.

Old Business:

•Moved by Dyson, second by Long to approve placing a handrail in front of the Post Office between the parking spaces. Hobbs opposes and withdraws Handy Helper Fencing bid. Dyson, Long, Harvey, Knope and Wine vote Ayes. Motion carried.

Adjournment:

•Moved by Long, second by Harvey to adjourn at 7:45 pm. All Ayes.
