Jefferson County Highway Committee met August 24.

1. Call to Order
Highway Committee Chairman Randy Edwards called the Highway Committee of the Jefferson County Board to order at 6:30 p.m., in County Board Room.
2. Roll Call
Upon the call of roll, the following committee members were present: Randy Edwards, Tim Marlow, Jeff Williams, and Adam Ortgiesen,
Absent: Justin Fulkerson
Others present: Bob Watt, Clifford Lindemann, Sean Wilkey, James Malone, Brandon Simmons, Sandra Wellmaker, and varlous media. and Steve Drouge.

4. Items to Present for Action
A, Pay Monthly bills.
- Motion by Jeff Williams and seconded by Tim Marlow to recommend to the full board to approve monthly as presented,
- Motion carried: Ayes 4(Edwards, Marlow, Williams, and Ortgesen.).

B. Monthly fuel: diesel and gasoline.
-Motion by Tim Marlow and seconded by Jeff Williams to recommend to the ful board to award monthly fuel to: Huel Oil Co. the bid price of $ 1, 7337 per gallon for diesel, and $ 1.5987 per gallon for gasohol, for a combined price Of $ 3.3324.
- Motion carried: Ayes 4 (Edwards, Marlow, Williams, and Ortgiesen).

C. Approval of Revised Preliminary Engineering Agreement-Two Mile Creek.
-Motion by Jeff Williams and seconded by Tim Marlow to recommend to the full board to approve the revised Preliminary Engineering Agreement for Two Mile Creek Bridge Section 15-11128-00-BR, Mt. Vernon Road District,
-Motion carried: Ayes 4 (Edwards, Marlow, Williams, and Ortgesen,),

D. Approval of Preliminary Engineering Agreement-Brownsville Road.
-Motion by Jeff Williams and seconded by Tim Marlow to recommend to the ful board to approve the Preliminary Engineering Agreement for Brownsville Road, in Dodds Township, approach roadway improvements to the existing Grade crossing by Union Pacific Railroad.
Motion carried: Ayes 4 (Edwards, Marlow, Williams, and Ortgiesen.).

E. Approval of Purchase of New Pick Up Truck through Central Management Services,
-Motion by Jeff Williams and seconded by Tim Marlow to recommend to the ful board to allow County Engineer to purchase new pickup truck through Central Management Services not to exceed $35,000.00
-Motion carried: Ayes 3 (Edwards, Marlow, and Williams.)

A. Report of monthly Motor Fuel Tax Allotments
B. Any other business necessary and proper.
6, Executive Session
