MINUTES: The meeting was called to order at 4:58 p.m. by chair, Danny Melvin. All members were present, also in attendance were, Franklin County Sheriff, Don Jones, Franklin County Clerk, Greg Woolard, Franklin County Circuit Clerk, Jim Muir, Franklin County Treasure, Keith Jones, Franklin County Coroner, Marty Leffler, Franklin County Engineer, Mike Rolla, Franklin County Supervisor of Assessments, Cindy Humm, Franklin County Animal Control Supervisor, Thad Snell, Franklin County Board Administrative Assistant, Gayla Sink, Franklin County Recycling Coordinator, Keith Ward and other interested parties.

Danny Melvin submitted the highway department claims, which were approved and signed by all members present.

Franklin County Engineer, Mike Rolla reported the Crocker road asphalt project was 75% finished. Mr Rolla reported E. T. Simonds had agreed to asphalt the Campbell building parking lot and the proposed Salt Barn floor for $29,999.00, discussion followed.

David Rea reported the Courthouse lawn was sprayed for weed and fertilizer by mistake and the County would not be charged. Mr Rea reported the air condition compressor in Courthouse failed and would cost $4,216.00 to replace.

Franklin County Board Administrative Assistant, Gayla Sink reported the City of Benton had requested the use of the Courthouse lawn during the upcoming fall festival, discussion followed.

The meeting adjourned at 5:05 p.m.
