The IAA Foundation is accepting applications for scholarships from agriculture students and Illinois Farm Bureau members and their children, according to a news release on the Benton/West City Area Chamber of Commerce website.
The scholarships range in value from $1,000 to $7,500 each year, with a total of $144,800 to be awarded for the 2018-19 school year, the release said. There are 76 scholarships available, including three IAA Foundation Top Scholarships, which provide $5,000 to each winner, and an Illinois Farm Bureau Legacy of Leadership scholarship worth $7,500. Applications are due by Feb. 1.
“We are pleased to help students through our growing scholarship program,” IAA Foundation Director Susan Moore said in the news release. “It is a great privilege to support the next generation of leaders, and encourage continuing education in agricultural fields.”
