City of Waterloo Planning & Annexation Committee met Jan. 21.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
Meeting called to order at 6:15 pm with the following committee members in attendance, Aldermen Russ Row, Clyde Heller, Steve Notheisen, Russ Thomas, Kyle Buettner and Mayor Tom Smith. Aldermen Stan Darter and Jim Nagel were also present.
Agenda Item 1: Petitions by Citizens on Non-Agenda Items. None
Agenda Item 2: Backyard Daycare Center Site Plan. Jim Nagel explained to the committee that the site plan was reviewed by Chris Wilson of HMG and it met all ordinance’s specifications. After some discussion Kyle Buettner made a motion to approve the Site Plan and a second from Clyde Heller, the vote was unanimous.
Agenda Item 3: Comments. There was a discussion brought up Jim Nagel about the renewal process of Special Use Permits. Jim is going to look into more and get back to the council.
Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Russ Thomas and second by Steve Notheisen. The meeting adjourned at 6:28 pm.
