City of Red Bud Finance Committee met Sept. 19.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Rodney Nevois, Ben Schwartzkopf, Alan Piel, Bill Hanebutt, Mike Rheinecker

Committee Members Absent:

Council Members Present: Curt Guebert, Jeremy DeMond, Kyle Donjon

Others Present: Acting Mayor Susan Harbaugh, , Code Administrator Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker, Attorney Paul Ray,

City Superintendent Josh Eckart

Others Absent: City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Pledge of Allegiance

Acting Mayor Harbaugh called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.

Old Business

I. RBI Property Tax Abatement – Waiting for 75% Project Completeness

Will be addressed at the October Committee Meeting

II. Rusty Guebert Farm Lease Review

A letter was sent to him with a $150 per acre rent amount. Mr. Guebert has agreed to the increase.

Recommendation made by Committee Member Nevois, seconded by Committee Member Hanebutt to draft a new lease with Rusty Gubert. Motion carried.

New Business

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – August 15, 2022

Recommendation made by Committee Member Nevois, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve the minutes from the August 15, 2022, meeting. Motion Carried.

II. Maturing CDs and Investment Information

Committee members reviewed the CD rates provided by the lending institutions in town. The City will reach out to AG Edwards about their rates and provide an updated sheet for the October City Council meeting.

III. Financial Dashboard

Included in the packet. There were no questions.

IV. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

Meeting was adjourned at 6:09 P.M.
