The League of Women Voters of Jackson County has organized a forum for candidates in the Carbondale mayoral race. The candidates are Harold J. Visser and Carolin Harvey. The League has formatted questions for the candidates in advance. Questions from the audience can be submitted for possible inclusion by sending them to maryfinley51@gmail.com or including them in the registration. This event is organized by the League of Women Voters of Jackson County and is hosted by the Carbondale Public Library. The forum will be streamed live on the Carbondale Public Library’s Facebook page for those not wishing to register. Following the event, a forum recording will be posted on the Carbondale Public Library’s YouTube channel.
