City of Red Bud Cultural Committee met June 19.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Mike Rheinecker, Curt Guebert, Kyle Donjon

Committee Members Absent: Ben Schwartzkopf, Jeremy DeMond

Council Members Present: Bill Hanebutt, Rodney Nevois, Alan Piel

Others Present: Mayor Susan Harbaugh, City Attorney Rebecca Cooper, City

Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Admin./City Engineer JeffMueller, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Others Absent: Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker

Mayor Harbaugh called the meeting to order at 6:12 P.M.

New Business

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting May 15, 2023

Recommendation made by Committee Member Donjon, seconded by Committee MemberGuebert, to approve the minutes from the May 15, 2023, meeting. Carried

II. Request from Santa’s Village – Christmas Season

Recommendation made by Committee Member Rheinecker, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to approve the request from Santa’s Village as outlined in the June 2, 2023, e-mail. Carried

III. Request from Waverunners to Close Ratz Park Road and Reserve All Pavilions, Less Fee on July 22, 2023, for the Conference Swim Meet

Amy Wolter presented the needs for the conference swim meet. Superintendent Eckart will provide cones/barricades as needed.

Recommendation made by Committee Member Donjon, seconded by Committee Member Guebert, to approve the request from the Red Bud Waverunners to close the Ratz Park road, reserve all four pavilions, less fee, and allow parking in the park grass, weather allowing, for the conference swim meet on July 22, 2023. Carried

IV. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

None

The meeting was adjourned at 6:20 P.M.
