City of Red Bud Zoning Committee met July 24.

Council Members Present: Mike Rheinecker, Bill Hanebutt, Kyle Donjon
Others Present: Mayor Susan Harbaugh, City Attorney Richard Cooper, Code Admin./City Engineer Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, City Clerk Joanne Cowell
Others Absent: City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker,
Committee Chairman Piel called the meeting to order at 6:23 P.M.
Old Business
I. Comprehensive Plan
Code Admin. Mueller said we are waiting for the RFQs due in August.
II. East Industrial Park Expansion Project
Volkert is hoping to get the IDS back in August.
III. City Hall Repairs – Contract
This contract is for preparing the documents for the outside sealing of city hall.
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Piel, seconded by Committee Member Schwartzkopf, to approve the proposal from Quadrant Design for architectural services for preparing bid specs and documents for city hall improvements, NTE $16,900. Motion Carried.
New Business
I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting June 19, 2023
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Piel, seconded by Committee Member DeMond, to approve the minutes from the June 19, 2023, meeting. Motion Carried.
II. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City
None
