City of Waterloo Planning & Annexation Committee met Sept. 20.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Meeting called to order at 6:30 pm with the following committee members in attendance, Aldermen Russ Row, Joel Vogt, Matt Buettner, Tina Charron, Gary Most and Mayor Stan Darter. Nathan Krebel, Carl Tebbe (FS), Chris Kuester (TWM) was also present.
Agenda Item 1: Petitions by Citizens on Non-Agenda Items: None
Agenda Item 2: Gateway Business Park Preliminary Plat: Nathan explained the history of this development. Nathan also said that this committee already approved the complete street that was brought to them by FS on 5/15/23. Chris Kuester explained why FS was asking to shorten the street. Carl Tebbe talked about the cost of a complete street for just one business just wasn’t in the budget for FS at this time. There was discussion and the committee was asked if there was any interest in making a motion to accept the proposed shortened street. No motion was made.
Agenda Item 3: Comments: None.
Motion to adjourn was made by Gay Most and a second from Joel Vogt. Passed. The meeting adjourned at 6:23
