Two Monroe County residents in their sixties tested positive for COVID-19 on October 8, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
In total, there have been 84 positive cases reported in Monroe County among residents in their sixties, accounting for 11.1 percent of all cases in the county. Through October 8, Monroe County has reported a total of 760 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 24 of which have ended with the victim’s death.
