There were two offenders released on parole during 2019 that live near Illinois zip code 62997, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SW Illinois News.

The data shows that man and woman were released in Willisville zip code. The younger parolee was a 21-year-old woman convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2018, and the other was a 50-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Anastasia Maldonado. She was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2018, when he was 21 years old. She is now 22.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
