City of Pinckneyville City Council met June 26.

Here are the minutes provided by the council:

ROLL CALL 

Mayor Robert L. Spencer called the special meeting of the Pinckneyville City Council to order at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall. Members present: Joshua L. Kuhnert, Sammy D. Peradotta, William B. Stotlar, and Mayor Robert L. Spencer. Mayor Spencer declared a quorum present. Absent: Commissioner Hicks. Administrative staff present: Deputy Clerk Terri Lindner and City Attorney Don Bigham. 

REQUEST TO HIRE STEVEN W. MATHIS AS A PART TIME WORKER FOR PARK 

Commissioner Kuhnert made a motion to hire Steven W. Mathis as a part time worker to mow grass for the park. Commissioner Peradotta seconded the motion. On roll call: Commissioner Kuhnert, Commissioner Peradotta, Commissioner Stotlar, and Mayor Spencer voted YEA. NAYS: None. Motion declared carried. 

ADJOURNMENT 

Motion made by Commissioner Stotlar, seconded by Commissioner Kuhnert to adjourn the meeting at 9:00 a.m. On roll call: Commissioners Kuhnert, Peradotta, Stotlar, and Mayor Spencer voted YEA. NAYS: None. Motion declared carried.
