Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting January 20, 2025

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve the minutes from the January 20, 2025, meeting. Carried

II. Approval of Buena Vista Bank Request to Host Easter Egg Hunt at Ratz Park on April 12, 2025, at 1 PM

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to approve the request from Buena Vista Bank to host an Easter Egg Hunt at Ratz Park on April 12, 2025, at 1 PM. Carried

III. Approval of Randolph County Humane Society Mural Contest Sponsorship Request

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve the sponsorship request from the Randolph County Humane Society Mural Contest at the bronze level for $200. Carried

IV. Approval of Randolph County StartUp Request to Host 5K Color Run Event on Saturday, March 22, 2025

Julia Montroy, facilitator for the Randolph County StartUp Program explained that the program is funded by business investors and is open to high school juniors and seniors, who run a small class business individually and a large class business together. There are seven students enrolled in the program. Several members of the class were present to request permission to host a 5K Color Run to raise money for the program. The proposed route has been approved by Chief Brittingham and the RBPD will help with traffic control.

Recommendation made by Committee Chaiman Schwartzkopf, seconded by Committee Member DeMond, to approve the Randolph County StartUp 5K Color Run Event on March 22, 2025, as presented. Carried

IV. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

Mayor Harbaugh noted that approval for the Color Run would not be official until the March 3rd council meeting, but they are free to start marketing.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:11 P.M.
