City of Red Bud Cultural Committee Met June 21.

Committee Members Present: Jeremy DeMond, Kyle Donjon, Mike Rheinecker, Curt Guebert, Ben Schwartzkopf

Committee Members Absent:

Council Members Present: Bill Hanebutt, Rodney Nevois, Susan Harbaugh

Others Present: Mayor Tim Lowry, City Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Admin. Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Others Absent: Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker

Committee Chairman DeMond called the meeting to order at 6:07 P.M.

Old Business

I. Farmer’s Market – Update

Chairman DeMond reported that there is a decent amount of interest in the July 10th Farmer’s Market, but still looking for more vendors.

New Business

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting May 17, 2021 Recommendation made by Committee Chairman DeMond, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to approve the minutes from the May 17, 2021, meeting. Carried

II. Request from Randolph County Humane Society to collect at Four-Way on Friday, September 17 and Saturday, September 18, 2021

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman DeMond, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve the request from Randolph County Humane Society to collect at the 4- way on September 17, 2021, 2:00-6:00 P.M. and September 18, 2021, 8:00 A.M.-Noon. Carried

III. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

Brad Mayberry, representing the Chamber of Commerce said the Chamber is planning a movie night at Lincoln Park on July 17th. It will be free to the public and food vendors are being planned. The request will be on the July 6th council agenda. They will need some assistance from the city for electricity. No one had any objections, but no action could be taken.

Meeting was adjourned at 6:12 P.M
