City of Waterloo City Council met June 16.

Here are the minutes provided by the council:

MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING

1. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Darter at 7:20 p.m.

2. The following Aldermen were present: Vogt, Matt Buettner, Hopkins, Trantham, Charron, Kyle Buettner, Riley and Most.

3. Call to Notice (Advertisement is on file at City Hall)

4. Presentation of proposed Annexation Agreement between the City of Waterloo, IL and Dennis R. Brand Trust, Virginia L. Brand Trust, and BMW Trust

5. Discussion, Questions and Answers.

Mr. Dennis Brand was present to speak on behalf of this proposed annexation agreement. Mr. Brand explained that the annexation agreement is for approximately 15.22 acres designated for a single-family home with an A-1 (Agriculture) classification. Alderman Most, Chairman of the Planning and Annexation Committee, stated that the committee had met and given the annexation unanimous approval.

6. Motion to Adjourn was made by Alderman Most and seconded by Alderman Matt Buettner. Motion passed with a unanimous voice vote.

Mayor Darter adjourned the meeting at 7:25 p.m.
