Families in the Du Quoin Community Unit School District 300 are beginning their Spring Break, which runs from March 9 to March 13, 2026. Superintendent Diana Rea addressed families with a message for the break.

“It brings me great joy to wish you and your loved ones a happy and safe Spring Break. I hope you all take the time to enjoy this precious time together, whether it’s on a planned vacation or simply recharging at home,” Rea said.

She continued, “We encourage you to use this time away from the rigors of academics to rest, recharge, and connect with family and friends. The faculty, staff, and I hope all of our students and families have a safe and enjoyable break and are able to take advantage of a little sunshine.”

Rea concluded her message by stating, “We look forward to welcoming students, faculty, and staff back in the district on Monday, March 16, as we begin the fourth quarter and finish the 2025–2026 school year strong!”
