FOIA Request to Randolph County Il Clerk & Elections Division Regarding Upcoming Election Candidates on February 5, 2025.

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at SW Illinois News have sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Randolph County Il Clerk & Elections Division. The request, sent on February 5, 2025, seeks detailed information about all candidates running in the upcoming election.

Specifically, we have asked for an exhaustive list of candidates that includes their first, middle and last names; the office they are running for; the jurisdiction of that office; and their party affiliation.
