On Friday, Feb. 14, former Columbia High School standout Kyle McConachie’s current college team, the Akron Zips, won 12-11 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Radford Highlanders.
The game took place at Sherman Carter Memorial Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Highlanders this season.
The Zips’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Sherman Carter Memorial Stadium against Radford Highlanders.
