Missouri S&T Miners fall 1-0 to Drury in NCAA Division II softball behind Mia Miller pitching

At 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, Mia Miller, a former Waterloo High School standout, pitched for the Missouri S&T Miners, who came up short in a 1-0 result against the Drury Panthers in NCAA Division II softball action.

Thompson Field at Meador Park hosted the game, which marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. The Miners had earned a 4-1 victory over the Panthers in their first matchup, also played on Saturday, March 14.

Miller gave up one earned run over six innings pitched, issuing two walks and tallying six strikeouts.

The Miners are set to take on the Maryville Saints at Maryville Softball Field at 12 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, for their next game.
