Illinois State Representative David Friess has invited residents to meet with him for coffee on Wednesday, August 20, in Waterloo. The event will take place at Salt & Honey, located at 610 South Market Street, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.

The gathering is open to the public and free of charge. Attendees are encouraged to stop by, have a cup of coffee, and discuss state government issues and ways to improve Illinois.

Friess was elected as a Republican to the Illinois State House in 2023, representing the state’s 115th House District. He succeeded former state representative Nathan Reitz.
