Jefferson County Board considered giving $750 to Round Knoll Cemetery

The Jefferson, Illinois County Board discussed giving $750 to Round Knoll Cemetery during a recent Fiscal Committee meeting.

The board received a request from Round Knoll Cemetery for the maintenance fee worth $750. Board member James Malone moved a motion to recommend to the Full Board to approve a payment in that amount. The motion, seconded by Vice Chairman Jeff Williams, was passed with no opposition. 

The committee reviewed a number of claims in the meeting. Cliff Lindemann put forth motion to approve monthly claims as adjusted if sufficient funds are present. The motion, seconded by Williams, was passed as well.

A motion, moved by Williams and seconded by Lindemann, to recommend to the Full Board to approve the Payroll Distribution Report as presented was passed in the meeting. Another motion, moved by Williams and seconded by Lindemann, to recommend to the Full Board to approve the Demand Claims Report as presented was also approved.
