Columbia City Council discusses $36,530 bid for waterline replacement supplies

The City Council of Columbia, Illinois considered a bid for waterline replacement supplies with HD Supply in the amount of $36,530.25.

The bid was reviewed at last week's council meeting.

Minutes of previous meetings were read and set to be voted on for approval. The minutes included those of a regular session and an executive session on Feb. 16.

An ordinance was discussed to grant a Special Use Permit for Real Estate at 1550 North Main Street. The ordinance was meant to allow a day-care facility for infants in a C-1 Zoned District in Columbia.

A resolution was discussed to support Joint Cooperation and Development Assistance with the Village of Dupo. A motion to authorize the mayor to execute a memorandum of agreement with the U.S .Census Bureau for a Special Census was discussed as well. In the finance section, vouchers to be paid were reviewed 

A Limb Removal Service agreement with All Type Tree Service Inc. and a Leaf Removal Service agreement with ATRC LLC were also discussed in the meeting as well. The Phase 1 of the Admiral Trost Park Development was also discussed in the meeting.

There will be committee meetings to be held on March 21.
