I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Thompson, seconded by Committee Member Reed to approve the minutes from the March 29, 2016 meeting. Carried
II. River Road Cruisers Car Show – Monday, July 4, 2016
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Thompson, seconded by Committee Member Esker, to approve the request of the River Road Cruisers to have a helicopter at the car show on July 4, 2016 at the Sports Complex/Lion’s Park. Carried
III. Request from YMCA to Reserve Lincoln Park on Saturday, July 30, 2016
Recommendation made by Committee Member Esker, seconded by Committee Member Reed, to approve the request of the YMCA to reserve Lincoln Park on Saturday morning, July 30, 2016 with no fee, for the Abby Liefer/Hannah Porter 5K run. Carried
IV. Request from Girl Scout Troop 8935 to Reserve Lincoln Park Pavilion #1 – April 30, 2016
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Thompson, seconded by Committee Member Linnertz, to approve the request of Girl Scout Troop 8935 to reserve Lincoln Park Pavilion #1 on April 30, 2016 for a “Paws for a Cause” event. Carried
V. Musket Athletic Club Annual Golf Tournament – May 14, 2016
Recommendation made by Committee Member Esker, seconded by Committee Member Reed, to authorize payment of $75 for a hole sponsorship at the May 14, 2016 Musket Athletic Club Annual Golf Tournament. Carried
VI. RBHS Library Advisory Council – Request for Raffle License
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Thompson, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to approve a raffle license for RBHS Advisory Council. Carried
VII. Request from RBI – Park Reservation with Special Features Requests
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Thompson, seconded by Committee Member Reed to approve the special request for RBI at Ratz Park on August 20, 2016. Carried
VIII. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City
There will be a request from the Red Bud Waverunners to close Ratz Park to traffic on July 30, 2016, for the Shawnee Swimming Conference Meet, on the May council agenda.
