City of Waterloo issued the following announcement on Aug. 17.
Tuesday, August 21, 2018 Illinois American Water will be temporarily changing the type of disinfectant used in the water, as they always do this time of year to help prevent pacterial grown and disinfection.
The safety of the water will not be affected by this temporary change.
