City of Red Bud City Council met March 18.

The City Council of Red Bud, Randolph County, Illinois met at 7:35 P.M. at Red Bud City Hall, City Council Chambers.

Members Present: Clem Esker, Curt Guebert, Mike Reed, Bill Hanebutt, David Friess, Kyle Donjon, Susan Harbaugh

Members Absent: Mayor Tim Lowry, Glenn Linnertz

Others Present: City Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, City Code Administrator Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

I. Call to Order at 7:35 P.M. by Council Member Hanebutt

II. Roll Call by City Clerk Joanne Cowell

III. Approval of DCEO Electric Infrastructure Grant Application Documentation

Motion made by Council Member Hanebutt seconded by Council Member Harbaugh, to authorize approval of the federal funded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project for the City of Red Bud: Resolution NO. 19-002, “A RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT AND COMMITMENT OF LOCAL FUNDS.”. The vote was as follows: Esker, aye; Guebert, aye; Reed, aye; Hanebutt, aye; Friess, aye; Donjon, aye; Harbaugh, aye. Motion carried.

IV. Splash Pad – Quality Based Selection Request

Motion made by Council Member Hanebutt seconded by Council Member Donjon, to authorize approval of quality base selection requests for the splash pad, to be presented to the parks committee. The vote was as follows: Guebert, aye; Reed, aye; Hanebutt, aye; Friess, aye; Donjon, aye; Harbaugh, aye; Esker, aye. Motion carried.

V. Einstein Consulting – Approval for TPA Services

Motion made by Council Member Hanebutt seconded by Council Member Harbaugh, to authorize approval to transfer the third-party authorization services to Einstein Consulting. The vote was as follows: Reed, aye; Hanebutt, aye; Friess, aye; Donjon, aye; Harbaugh, aye; Esker, aye; Guebert, aye. Motion carried.

VII. Adjournment

Motion made at 7:39 P.M. by Council Member Reed, seconded by Council Member Friess, to adjourn the meeting. The vote was as follows: all ayes. Motion carried.
