Sparta home prices rise in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Sparta rose by $6,000 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $77,500 - a 8.4% increase over the $71,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Sparta in May 2018.

The median sales tax in Sparta for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,346, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for May 2019.
