ROLL CALL: Present – Stein, Doerflein, Lively, Marlow, Downard

Absent- Phillips, Catt Visitors –Kerri Schoenbacher, O&M Manager, Cindy Opp, Jr. High ELA/Teacher Union President, Sarah Copus, PreK Instructor, Lauren Adams, Kindergarten, CJ Opp, Jr. High Social Studies/PE, Addison Baker, Speech Language Pathologist, Tammy Helvey, Special Education Director

MOTION: by Doerflein, second by Lively to approve the Minutes of February Board Meeting (Open and Closed).

Five in favor, none opposed.

MOTION: by Doerflein, second by Lively to approve the Payment of Bills.

ROLL CALL: Stein, yea; Doerflein, yea; Lively, yea; Marlow, yea; Downard, yea.

MOTION: by Doerflein, second by Marlow to approve the Treasurer’s Report.

ROLL CALL: Stein, yea; Doerflein, yea; Lively, yea; Marlow, yea; Downard, yea.

MOTION: by Lively, second by Doerflein to enter into Closed Session for the purpose of appointment, employment, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees at 6:18pm.

Five in favor, none opposed.

MOTION: by Lively, second by Downard to exit Closed Session at 7:42pm Five in favor, none opposed.

MOTION: by Doerflein, second by Lively to grant tenure to Casey Opp on the stipulation that he obtain his endorsement in Junior High Science 5-8, due to the position being combined with Social Studies Curriculum in the 2026-2027 School Year.

MOTION: by Downard, second by Marlow to move forward with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

MOTION: by Doerflein, second by Marlow to approve the QNS Computer Server quote of $180 for a warrantee extension only.

MOTION: by Marlow, second by Lively to post the position for Summer Maintenance Help.

MOTION: by Doerflein second by Lively to approve $4,400 of the funds from the School Maintenance Grant for the Heater at the Iubelt Center, the Village of Tamaroa will provide the other half of the funds necessary for this purchase.

The next Board of Education Meeting is set for April 15th, 2025.
