The City of Columbia, Illinois Committee of the Whole met recently at Columbia City Hall to review updates to its 2015-16 budget.
The committee was expected to focus on revenues and expenses.
The committee was also expected to discuss its sign code related to electronic message displays, its siren warning system, a building addition for the Midwest Petroleum building, a park lands dedication, and a grant application.
The city council is made up of Mayor Kevin Hutchinson, and Aldermen James Agne, Steven Reis, Mark Roessler, Kevin Martens, Gene Ebersohl, Jeff Huch, Mary Ellen Niemietz, and Steve Holtkamp, The council meets on the first and third Mondays of the month at 7 p.m. at the City Hall at 208 S. Rapp Ave.
