Jefferson County Services Committee discusses responsibilities

The Jefferson County Services Committee met Jan. 19 to discuss responsibilities.

Here are the meeting's minutes, as provided by the committee:

The Jefferson County Services Committee is the parent committee for the county’s public defender, the circuit clerk, county clerk and recorder, and the assessments supervisor.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT: CLIFF LINDEMANN, CHAIRMAN, BOB WATT, RANDY EDWARDS, ADAMORTGESEN & WAYNEHFCKS

OTHERS PRESENT: STEVE DRAEGE, JOYCE DAMRON, JAMES MALONE, TIM MARLOW, JEFF WILLIAMS, TERRY KNOWLES, CONNIE SIMMONS & SUZY TATE

No one was present for public input..

A Public Defender's Report was not submitted this month.

Committee Chairman indemann addressed the committee regarding the responsibility of the committee. Lindemann requested the members of the Committee to meet with the offices that the Services Committee is the liaison to and see what their needs are. He would like for them to do this in the next 60 days.

Motion by Randy Edwards and seconded by Bob Watt to adjourn. Motion Carried. Vote - 5 aye, 0 nay
