PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT/GUESTS

PUBLIC COMMENT

NEW BUSINESS:

• Moved by Wine second by Campbell to approve the board meeting schedule for 2021. All Ayes.

• The board discussed the vacant property at 508 E. Locust Street. Multiple property maintenance citations were issued, the property owner did not show up for the city court date and now the village will need to decide how best to proceed. It was decided that the board members should take a look at the property to see how extensive the cleanup will be. No action was taken at this time.

• The Village did not have a lighting contest this year due to the remarkable community participation with the Coulterville Holiday Association. Moved by Long, second by Wright to give that money in the amount of $225.00 to the Coulterville Holiday Association for their lighting contest. All Ayes.

• Moved by Wright, second by Wine to raise Bill Kohlhaas $0.50/hr. and to hire a new maintenance employee at $13/hr. with a six-month probationary period. All Ayes.

OLD BUSINESS:

• No action was taken on 410 E. Grant Street. The village has received several complaints about the condition of the building. The board has discussed the possibility of demolition and received several bids. Wine stated that during a pandemic business development has been put on hold and now may not be the time to spend the money.

EXECUTIVE SESSION:

ADJOURNMENT:

• Moved by Long, second by Wine to adjourn at 8:10pm. All Ayes.
