Waterloo Board of Police Commissioners to meet, discuss probationary patrolman eligibility list

The City of Waterloo, Illinois Board of Police Commissioners will meet at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20.

The commissioners will meet in the lobby conference room at City Hall, 100 W. Fourth St.

The commission is putting together a new eligibility list for probationary patrolman. The list will be good for two years. New patrolman will be hired from the list.

The list was opened for applications last fall. After the closing date, the applications were reviewed and a letter sent out to the applicants for additional information.

The commission will review the updates to the applications at Saturday's meeting. Following the discussion on the applications, the commission will discuss the testing procedures for the upcoming probationary patrolman testing on April 30. The commission will also approve the letters inviting the applicants to test for the position.

The physical agility tests and written exams will be held at the South Western Illinois College (SWIC) Belleville campus, located at 2500 Carlyle Ave., Belleville, Illinois.
