Liquor

The Carbondale, Illinois Local Liquor Control Commission is going to consider a request by Reel Lucky for an additional 180-day permit to operate a B3 liquor license at its meeting tomorrow, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m.

Reel Lucky requested for an additional 180-day permit to operate a B3 liquor license at 1224 W. Main St. It has also made a request for location transfer, which is going to be discussed in the meeting as well.

Reel Lucky made the request in May 2015, and the request was approved in the meeting held on June 9. However, the applicant came to know that the Illinois Gaming Board was not willing to accommodate additional video gaming machines in the current locations. That is why the company made the request to be relocated.

The meeting will also discuss a request from Little Vegas Gaming LLC for a Class B3 license. The request regards a video gaming establishment with on-premises consumption of all alcoholic liquors.

In the meeting, a request from Bombay Olive LLC for a Class A2 liquor license will also be reviewed. At the same time, the meeting will consider second quarter reports from the Police Department, Fire Department and Building and Neighborhood Services for license year 2015-16.
