City Clerk Jennifer Sorrell and Interim City Manager Gary Williams attended the meeting as well, along with various members of the council’s administrative staff.

Henry thanked the Carbondale Police Department for its management of simultaneous incidents occurring near the City Hall on Jan. 25.

During the citizens’ comments, Kathleen Shaffner from Chautauqua Road requested that the council consider her request to eliminate all gasoline-powered engines on Cedar Lake.

The Downtown Advisory Committee (DAC) Vice Chairwoman Meghan Cole read an update provided by the DAC chairman, Jack Langowski. Cole also responded to council inquiries.
