The Board of Education of Waterloo, Illinois Community Unit School District No. 5 is going to hold a special board meeting Monday, March 7.
The meeting is going to take place in the Waterloo High School auditorium, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
During the meeting, information will be shared with the public in regards to the County School Facility Sales Tax that will be on the March 15 ballot. There is not going to be any formal action taken by the board in the special meeting other informing the public about the ballot proposal.
The proposed 1 percent sales tax is going to provide revenue to school districts serving students who reside in Monroe County.
