The Jefferson, Illinois County Board discussed a number of new appointments during a recent meeting.
Joyce Damron's appointment to the Crosswalk Community Action Agency was considered. The appointment was recommended to the chairman of the Full Board in a motion during the Land, Tax and Appointments Committee meeting in February. Chairman Robert White moved the motion, while board member Tim Marlow seconded it. The motion was carried with no dissenting votes.
A motion, moved by Marlow and seconded by White, recommended to the chairman of the Full Board to reappoint Debbie Terry to the Crosswalk Community Action Agency. Another motion, moved by White and seconded by Marlow, recommended to the chairman of the Full Board to appoint Robert Beal to the 911 Board to fill the vacancy created by Ed Dulaney’s death. Both motions were approved.
