Carbondale Public Library discusses February financial report

The Carbondale, Illinois Public Library Board of Trustees reviewed the financial report for February 2016 in a board meeting held last week.

The meeting started with the president’s report, which was followed by the secretary’s report. The Feb. 10 meeting minutes and the bills payable up to and including bills due March 16, 2016 to April 15, 2016 were to be discussed and put to a vote by the board.

Building and grounds maintenance was discussed. The April 5 budget hearing was talked about as well.

During the meeting, visitors were asked to introduce themselves and present any issues they wished to discuss. Visitors wishing to address specific agenda items were granted two to five minutes at the discretion of the president, not to exceed a total of 20 minutes. 

Board meetings are held in Public Library Meeting Room on the second Wednesday of every month.
