Commissioner Sammy D. Peradotta was present along with Stone, Stotlar and Spencer. Commissioner Kevin B. Hicks was absent. Among the administrative staff, City Clerk Larry S. West and City Attorney Donald Bigham were present in the meeting.

The treasurer said there was more than $189,000 in the general fund, $88,507.06 in the gas operating account and $231,147.19 in the water/sewer operating account. The water/sewer account received $189,419.58 from the state for July and August for the utilities at the prison.
