The Carbondale, Illinois Sustainability Commission will discuss the election of a new chairperson at tonight's meeting starting at 6.
The meeting will take place in City Hall, Room 103, 200 South Illinois Ave. It will start with the approval of the minutes of the Jan. 21 meeting.
The current status report on the former Koppers Wood Treating Site will be reviewed. Under the new business section, the new chair election will be discussed.
Cedar Lake Manager John Wallace will make a presentation regarding concerns about the approved chicken farm near Cedar Lake.
In old business, porous concrete for sidewalks and driveways, graduated trash fee and polystyrene foam are going to be discussed. Thereafter, there will be citizen comments and questions.
