The Carbondale Elementary School District No. 95 School Board will discuss updates to the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) policies and personnel issues in a meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 24 in the CES95 Administrative Center.
The discussion on the updated and new policies for the IASB will include payment procedures, employment suspension and termination, equal educational opportunities and non-public school students, such as Parochial and home school students.
The board will discuss substitutes, resignations, retirements and other personnel issues during the meeting. It will also discuss the responses to a posting for an Arabic aide and the reassignment of an administrator to a teaching position.
Student fundraising activities and restrictions of publications will also be discussed in the meeting.
The CES95 Administrative Center is at 925 S. Giant City Road, Carbondale.
