The Columbia, Illinois Community Unit School District (CCUSD) No. 4 Board of Education approved the revised CCUSD4 Teacher Evaluation Plan in a recent meeting.
A student growth component was included in the plan.
In the meeting, the Intergovernmental Agreement with Columbia CUSD4 and Southwestern Illinois College was approved for the Running Start Program.
There was a closed session in the meeting to discuss the superintendent’s evaluation, performance of employees and a Family and Medical Leave Act (FLMA) Policy Correction regarding the compensation of two employees. The notification of Early Retirement Option (ERO) and compensation adjustment for a certified teacher was discussed as well.
The district received several Freedom of Information requests. One request was from the Belleville News Democrat for salary information of employees. Another request came from Patty Birk, who requested insurance carrier and risk management information. One more request came from SmartProcure regarding PE/Vendor information for all electronic purchase records from Oct. 8 to present.
